Previously passionate about networking and telecommunication engineering up until my 2nd year in university.After searching for a right fit for my creativity, I transitioned fully into marketing in 2021, where I co-founded 10.8.8 Africa, a fully bootstrapped, community driven team of creatives, with our niche being University Content creation and distribution, E-Magazine production, & Event organization and hosting. I've led the entire team, as well as the entire content marketing strategy, leading to over 9000 magazine downloads in 4 editions. Also grew a community of close to 2000 organically generated people via social media, and over 1600 event attendees in 2 years.By 2023, I transitioned fully into tech, and was opportuned to lead product marketing for JekaEat, a food ordering and logistics tech solution in Minna, Niger state. Leading a marketing team of 5, I was able to grow JekaEat's customer base from scratch to over 1100 customers in less than 7 months by implementing various marketing strategies like brand collaboration, social media, paid ads, traditional media adverts, physical outreaches and events. These strategies also led to an increase in brand loyalty amongst customers, and resulted in over 2,100 food orders, and generating over 4 million naira in revenue for our food vendors in that same period.I had a short stint in Music marketing with Beta Digitals, where I worked as a Music Marketing/ Sales Representative for the music arm called Soundisruptr. Although not the best of stints, I was in charge of direct communication with rising afrobeats artists, and convincing them we were the best to grow their careers.Currently, I lead digital marketing for Huiospay, a Nigerian Fintech startup based in Abuja.
