As a dedicated professional with a passion for neurosurgery, research, medical simulation, higher education teaching, and leadership, I bring a wealth of expertise and experience to my roles.Currently serving as a Teaching Faculty at the Faculty of Medicine, Umm Al Qura University in Saudi Arabia, and as a Clinical Fellow in Vascular and Open and Endoscopic Skull-Base Neurosurgery, I am committed to advancing the field and contributing to the next generation of medical professionals.With fluency in Arabic, English, and French languages, I have cultivated a diverse skill set and a global perspective. I hold double-board certification as a neurosurgeon, having earned the French Board of Neurosurgery from Sorbonne University and the European Board of Neurological Surgery. Additionally, my academic background includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Surgical Education, where I specialized in curriculum design, testing, validation, and medical educational psychology. My thesis work focused on neurosurgical virtual reality simulation and artificial intelligence learning, providing me with invaluable insights into medical virtual reality, including scenario validations, teaching using virtual reality scenarios, and high-quality research methodologies and biostatistics.Complementing my clinical and academic achievements are my leadership certifications and course completions, including a MISK Foundation Leadership Fellowship and various courses in management principles, project management, healthcare economics, and strategic management of healthcare organizations.I am deeply committed to giving back to the community and have volunteered as a Clinical Internship Year Coordinator, overseeing the organization and distribution of clinical year medical interns, as well as serving as the Head of the Students Saudi Science Club, where I spearheaded scientific meetings for medical students.Driven by a commitment to excellence, innovation, and lifelong learning, I am dedicated to making impactful contributions to the fields of neurosurgery, medical education, and leadership.
