Joined OMS as SCADA/Telecom Engineer. During this tenure, I have worked for the TP-1000 power project for K-Electric Pakistan worth $400 Million. K-Electric is expected to comprise of 89 Grids including the latest upgrade of TP-1000 (Transmission Package 1000 MW) which included a new transmission and distribution line of 220/132kV along with new SCADA and telecom equipment. This includes 5 new grids 220kV and upgrade of 23 existing grids incorporated along with a Disaster recovery center.Responsibilities (Project: TP-1000)1) Design methodology, implementation, proposing solution, reviewing tendered equipment specifications against bids, and marking necessary alterations up to design freeze, reviewing grid layout and possible solutions with the flexibility for the consortium partners including risks and cost depiction2) Reviewing SCADA & Telecom hardware and Applications, proposed SCADA and Telecom designs3) Suggesting equipment, Hardware I/O capacity, server throughput, data channel latency, RTU integration in existing stations, Point to point connectivity etc.4) Assigned for complete FAT testing of Telecom and SCADA equipment5) Assigned for OPGW and FOC approval, Coupling Capacitors, Line Traps, Line Matching Units, , FAT Procedures, Joint boxes, Pig tails, splicing, OTDR testing and ODF installation

Project: Load Despatch System Upgrade1) Managing state of the art E-TERRA Control and WEBFG power management software for real-time power systems and data reporting at National Power Control Center (NPCC) for management of 500kV, 220kV and 132kV voltage lines, integrated Volt-Var Control.2) Management of different servers in SCADA scope inculding Archive Server, Energy Management Systems Server, Front End Protocol Server, Active Directory Controller, Historical Information Server, Historical Data Recording Server, Replica Server, Dispatcher Training Server, Wallboard Server, GPS clock etc.3) Designing of Grid stations, displays and Single Line Diagrams (SLD) using E-TERRA display builder and creation of complete station alarms, station database, RTU Database and LUI Database using e-terra platform. The card was re-designed on a 8 Layer Hybrid PCB (Rogers4003+Fr4 Hi-Tg) over full Military temperature range of -55 C to +125 C and vibration/shock compliant o MIL-STD 810E.Was part of the team making MIL-STD 810E compliant, 115VAC 400Hz, 8-output Switching Mode Power supply to be used in HUD (Head Up Display) system of F7P aircraft.Repaired a solar panel regulation module worth Rs. 2.5 million single handedly that was about to be reordered.Designed and made solar mobile charging units for Telenor for flood affected areas.Completed the solution for VODAFONE money transfer in Qatar.Also completed various Prototype modules for automated Challan generation of vehicles for Traffic Police.
