Abdul was previously a VC at Crosslink Capital, where he led investments in consumer startups, including three multi-billion dollar exits with Pandora, Ancestry.com and Omniture. Previously founded companies backed by Google, Venture Firms, and individual investors in the world of finance, technology and entertainment, including Justin Verlander (MLB Pitcher), Justin Thomas (PGA Golfer), Brian Lee (Honest Company), owner of an MLB team, partners from Goldman Sachs, UBS, Houlihan Lokey, TCW, etc. Abdul co-founded the Google funded YOMYOMF network with Fast & Furious director Justin Lin to give a voice to underrepresented Asian American creators and The NOC with Cash Warren and ESPY Producers to focus on lifestyle programming around professional athletes, which was later sold to Vice Media.
