-Trained under an engineer diagnosing excavator using software and multiplexers and Replaced mechanical parts like brakes, drums, axles, gears, high pressure pumps, oil pumps, air compressors.-Handled contacting CAT Headquarters in Belgium to diagnose faults in the 2017-present excavators. Most common issues were faulty boost pressure readings (15 psi standard) which caused weakness in torque at wide boom angles, and usually leaks between the sprocket and the back of the hydraulic motor, this was fixed by replacing the floating face seal, when a face seal fails, geae oil starts leaking and the planetary hub starts racking up contaminants. These issues were most common in the 330D CAT Excavator.
