Construction Foreman
Current- supervise the construction welding crew on any new construction or modification to existing equipment & piping Fabrication, flow lines, general maintenance, installation of new Plants.- Expedite the ordering of spare parts & supplies from vendor & Manufacturer technical manuals.- Responsible for material collection, recording to ensure that all material according to met drawing & specifications.- Responsible for observing all work areas, all work procedures and work performed, to ensure that the safety equipment needed as available for use & that all safety procedures are followed. - Conduct tailgate safet meetings.- Responsible for scheduling, placement, training & evaluation of personnel in his charge.- Responsible for implementing the company permit system & the constraints laid out on a permit for undertaking tasks.- Responsible for fabrication, inspection, & installation of pipe work in compliance with ASME, ANSI, API codes, differing pipe materials & their handling & fabrication techniques, pipe flange, fitting & valve schedule rating understanding of gaskets & their correct use scope.- Assures all work in assigned area is performed in accordance with established procedure & orders in a safe, efficient & economical manner.- Administrative tasks such: time keeping, accident report, Personel action recommendations & equipment failure report.
