Major Responsibilities:• Procure supplies, material inventory, and services required by Wieland-Farmers Copper Ltd.• Search, evaluate, and enroll new suppliers to ensure a better competitive supplier base.• Negotiate and renegotiate prices and terms in favor of Wieland-farmers Copper Ltd.• Ensure compliance with the established guidelines and conventions of the software and internal procedures.• Manage supplier relations in a meaningful way.• Ensure personal contribution to the procurement of critical and stock items through analysis of current market prices, price trends, and other industry information.• Execute contingency needs as instructed by the top management.

Major Responsibilities:•Study and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality,selection, service, support, availability, reliability, productionand distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputationand history using the internet and other research material.•Analyze price proposals, inventory data, and other data andinformation to determine reasonable prices usingspreadsheets (Excel).•Compare costs between competing suppliers to secure thebest purchase price.•Negotiate, or renegotiate, and administer contracts withsuppliers, and other representatives.•Implement guidelines on inventory management•Prepare purchase orders and keep price and availabilityinformation up to date through the management of pricefiles and back-ordered price lists.•Identify opportunities to cut costs through special offers,discounts, and setting more effective min-max levels.•Evaluate and monitor contracts to be sure that supplierscomply with the terms and conditions of the contract and todetermine the need for changes.•Responsible for the entire inventory of the store.•Maintain and review records of items bought, costs,deliveries, product performance, and inventories.

Major Responsibilities:• Ensure Best buying decision through price crosschecking, negotiation, spot purchasing, and market visits.• Comply with the company policy, and requirements of the internal and external customers such as users, top management, and account & finance departments.• Conduct regular procurement/buying activities starting from comparing the quotations to issuing purchase orders to maintaining the database and records.• Follow up on the progress and the status of the issued purchase orders, payment of the suppliers, and stakeholders’ feedback.• Maintain Knowledge updates through attending information sessions offered by the suppliers, training programs, trade fairs, and seminars.• Create a better competition through searching and adding more supplies.Major Achievements:• Introduced the process of buying straight from the principal/importer/authorized reseller to avoid copy products and unwanted price addition.• Initiated the Cross-Checking Process of the procured product with the Spot Purchase/Retail/Local market value to make sure the best purchasing price.• Introduced the process of collecting the authorization papers/certificates, provided by the manufacturer in support of the suppliers, to check the eligibility of the supplier, a process that eliminated all the local unauthorized suppliers to bid and win the supply order. • Initiated a manual ranking system for the suppliers based on their performances and experience.• Initiated the process/system of attending seminars, workshops, traded fairs, and information sharing session with the suppliers to stay technically updated.
