*Basic combustion and simulation research, chemical kinetic model development for reference fuels and oxygenates, ignition delay time simulation using (CHEMKIN), study the synergistic effect of blending alcohols with gasoline. *Facility planning and project management, design of blending lab equipment. *Global refining database development, compile all refineries data with the capacity of their units, classify refineries based on their complexity to estimate their yields of gasoline and diesel, study investments required to keep pace with future demand.*Part of the team that organized "The Future of Transport Fuels" workshop where representatives from all over the world attended to deliver insights on the forces that shape global transport energy scenarios.

*Developed chemical kinetic model for alcohols and gasoline surrogates. *Validated the model against literature data and high pressure shock tube facility available at KAUST.
