About Abdullah Al Salmani
Abdullah Al Salmani is an Electrical Engineer, with an MSc. Space Science degree from the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). He is doing research in Command and Data Handling Systems. He's got an Electrical Engineering BSc from Abu Dhabi University (ADU). Abdullah has experiences in tutoring, R&D, as well as industrial design, implementation, and troubleshooting, besides his leadership and teamwork skills. Abdullah is currently working as an Electrical Engineer at the National Space Science and Technology Center as he is working on the hardware development and testing of a Modular Command and Data Handling System, including the NSSTC_OBC which is planned to be flight tested as a payload in AlAinSat-1 under the supervision of Dr. Abdul-Halim Jallad. He is also serving as a Spacecraft Lead in AlAinSat-1. Abdullah is keen to develop the space field and increase advanced technical awareness by the international cooperation between the developed and developing countries. He is looking forward to joining a research team as a PhD student anytime soon.
