If any activity is delayed or likelyto be delayed, he has to take all possible measures and involve theManager. Indenting of material, taking assistance from material planner andfollow up for issuance of Purchase Order, review comparativestatement prepared by procurement from delivery / cost point of view. Verify / ensure that Purchase Order is according to indent. All PurchaseOrders must be signed with statement “verified for contents accordingto indent”. Once fabrication starts, his role further intensifies to ensure quality,progress and budget margins.

Expertly manage program schedules, crafting detailed production plans aligned with established baselines and continuously updating them in accordance with the latest purchase contract revisions. • Efficiently administer schedule and manufacturing-related data within ERP/MRP systems, ensuring all contract modifications are accurately reflected. • Strategically plan and oversee material requirements for production, orchestrating the assembly of manufacturing kits and monitoring inventory levels. • Proactively address material shortages by collaborating with Supply Chain and inspection teams, implementing risk mitigation strategies to maintain production flow. • Communicate and resolve material shortage impacts, maintaining seamless manufacturing operations. • Adapt to fluctuating manufacturing, material, and tool schedules, coordinating with internal stakeholders to accommodate dynamic customer schedule requests. • Execute the release of Job Orders within ERP/MRP systems, ensuring precise job tracking and workflow management. • Develop weekly resource and kitting plans, engaging with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth plan execution and deployment. • Conduct daily reviews of production progress, maintaining meticulous data for Management Information System (MIS) reporting. • Monitor daily resource availability, assessing impacts and reprioritizing manufacturing operations as necessary to optimize productivity. • Analyze customer consumption patterns and forecast data, managing production actions to prevent inventory levels from falling below minimum thresholds. • Maintain clear communication with Program Managers and leadership regarding any impacts on staff, tools, materials, or infrastructure, and actively contribute to devising effective solutions.
