• NHT and Reforming (CCR) unit: Participated in the mega turnaround, HAZOP study, and investigated several operational events.• Diesel Hydrotreating (DHT) unit: Achieved a 4% reduction in the Energy Intensity Index through heat integration and optimization, increased ULSD yield through the installation of Advanced Process Control, and developed a rigorous simulation model for hydraulic calculations.

• Led Process Automation Systems (PAS) commissioning and start-up activities in Flare Gas Recovery and Inlet Processing units. This involved loop/valve testing, functional tests, control narrative/logic verification, troubleshooting, and system configurations.• Led alarm rationalization activities, resulting in a 65% reduction in total process and system alarms.• Enhanced operations' performance and safety by tuning over 50 controllers, ranging from advanced regulatory to basic PID loops (e.g., HP/LP steam header and boiler ramp pressure controllers).• Participated in the development and commissioning of the Analyzers Healthiness dashboard and Controller Performance Monitoring (CPM) solution.
