I am currently working, as a part-time job, for the Center of Water and Environment, Research Institute, King Fahd University. I conduct an organic and inorganic analysis of water, sediment and biota samples following procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOPʹs & work instructions, including TPH, PAH analysis, preparation, extractions, and injection into Gas chromatography GC, oil and grease analysis, chloride analysis, carbonate and bicarbonate analysis, analysis for mercury content using mercury analyzer, and reports, and articles writing. My research area is in the field of utilization of waste and natural materials for wastewater treatment by the adsorption process, particularly the production of efficient low-cost adsorbents for organic and inorganic pollutants removal from wastewater. I produced many efficient micros and nano adsorbents from municipal and industrial waste. Various techniques were employed for the production of adsorbents from waste and natural materials, including synthesis of polymer nanocomposite, activated carbon preparation, and chemical surface modification. Many articles have been published in top journals out of our research. I have also accredited as a reviewer for many journals, including the Journal of environmental chemical engineering.After I finished my B.S degree, I worked as a Civil engineer for TRIANGLE GENERATION HUMANITARIAN IN THE REHABILITATION OF SPATE STRUCTURES, Food security, and rural development. I was involved in designing and supervising the rehabilitation of many spate structures in different areas of Hadramout, Yemen.I am a member of the Environmental technical meeting association established by ARAMCO. I joined on 14 December 2016 with membership number ETMA#133#.
