Production chemistry responsibilities:• Crude oil treatment:Crude oil dehydration and treatment systems with hands in monitoring process performance and applied treatment chemicals and their related chemical analysis.• Water injection treatment:Seawater injection water quality and treatment plant with hands in monitoring process performance and applied treatment chemicals and their related chemical analysis.• Scale deposits :Extensive knowledge of scale deposits problem in oilfield; characterization, monitoring, prediction using related software: ScaleSoftPitzerTM & scalechem, management, analysis, treatment chemicals, Squeeze jobs.Conducted two studies regarding scale deposits:- The use of chelating agents as scale dissolvers for hard scales.- Sulfate removing technique for sea water injection projects.• Corrosion problems:characterization, monitoring; weight loss coupons & LPR, management with corrosion inhibitors and their related analysis.• Paraffin wax and Asphaltenes :Paraffin wax problem; causes, chemical analysis, bottle tests and management methods and chemicals.• Bacteria problems:Cultivation and detection of Sulfate Reducing Bacteria (SRB) in Sea water injection water flood, Kill test & biocides application • Field chemicals:- Selecting, procuring, utilization, optimization the production chemicals in the field.- Technical evaluation of oil field chemicals' tender and the field trial.- Supervising chemical injection and dosing system and monitoring chemicals performance and outcomes KPI.• Oil spill :collecting samples, determining oil spill dispersant efficiency, water born oil identification with different techniques.
