Hello! Here are a few things about me:• I love experimenting with garments; upcycling, deconstruction/reconstruction, fabric manipulations, etc. to creating something new and unique; works of art that can be worn.• Highly skilled in illustration, sewing and CAD.• I love the creative process of designing garments, however, I still need to get the hang of advertising (showing off) my work on social media.• I became interested in Fashion Design during my time at university while I was studying Biochemistry (crazy transition, I know), science became something that I wanted to simply graduate in, whereas as Fashion Design became a fascination and then an obsession.• To sum up my career goals, I want to be an active player in the fight against ‘fast fashion’ and making it an industry that will no longer be one of the biggest polluters in the world. What I need for now is some mentoring and the chance to put my skills to use in order to get closer to this goal.
