I currently work within the cost intelligence, cloud and software team within Maersk (the team that is currently building an inhouse SAM tool called SALT), a few of my achievements are:Creating and managing a contract management pipeline report to give better visibility of our software estate (i.e what we buy, expiry dates etc). This has supported many aspects from understanding what is to be renewed to what has been terminated. This has been critical for Contract management space.Software spend report, this gives full visibility to the like of Navneet (Maersk CTIO) and his direct leadership of the current spend within their respective portfolio platforms and to track and manage costsSoftware savings dashboard to track and manage current software savings from the reporting above. Thus far the team has achieved over $7.5m in saving this year.Leading a team of junior data analysts to build out the data pipelines which feed critical data into SALT (our inhouse software asset management tool). This included data sources like device and server data, organisational structure, people data etcCost centre mapping to the correct respective portfolio (as our current financial tool Apollo does not provide this data). This has been critical is providing finance teams to carry out the current software decentralisation (giving ownership of software to respective portfolio rather than all run costs sitting under one portfolio)

I currently work as the operational lead for the Data and Reporting space across multiple teams within the Cloud and Enterprise service engineering. I support the teams to build out their reporting (to showcase their sucesses and highligh their work across the organsiation). I also work with the teams to support them in extracting the best info from the data sources we have across the organisation (From Data Collection to Analysis to identitfying the insights)I also have over 5 years experience working as a power BI developer and currently also train others in how to utilise the tool to improve efficiency within Maersk.

I completed my Data Analyst apprenticeship in April 2020 gaining a few qualification throughout my apprenticeship, one of which is a Dell accredited qualification. I gained a lot of experience and worked in many different parts of the business (ranging from Web Analytics, DBA, SAM and Business analysis) which allowed me to work with people of various different background and knowledge. As part of my apprenticeship I had the opportunity to gain many new skills and learn new tools, one of which is Microsoft Power BI (alongside my current role I train employees on Power BI and the benefits of this at Maersk).

I am currently volunteering as the Treasurer for the PCD support group (www.pcdsupport.org.uk). We support patients and their families with a rare genetic condition which affects primarily the lungs, ears, nose and reproductive organs.
