I underwent training in the Saudi Electricity Company in Distribution Department, where the electricity company manages construction projects. I trained in four departments, starting with the Planning Department, which is responsible for receiving subscribers' requests and planning for them to initiate the process. Afterwards, they are sent to the second department, which is the Construction Department. In this department, the requests are assigned to contracting companies and given the green light to start the work. The Maintenance and Operations Department supervises the work. Additionally, we conducted field visits to ongoing projects to familiarize ourselves with the electricity company's regulations regarding field work.

I underwent training in the Operations and Maintenance Department, where I learned about the electrical power system in the hospital. It starts with the electricity entering the hospital through the substation, which contains an RMU (Ring Main Unit) and a transformer to convert the voltage from medium to low. After that, the electricity is distributed to all departments in the hospital. Since hospitals are critical facilities and electricity should not be interrupted, there are backup systems to supply power to the hospital in case of a power outage, which are UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and backup generators.
