Parents Ease is an Insuretec startup, selling insurance products as an agent of an “AA+ rated” Insurance company of Pakistan. Its platform is integrated on real time basis with insurance company and payment gateway to collect premium through various instruments. We are bridging the gap between insurers and end-consumers thereby selling through digital Insuretec platform. It has a potential of high impact wrt financial inclusion and disruption in conventional insurance industry. Led API integrations with several insurance providers in an effort to provide a complete digital first experience to customers.Designed and introduced reporting systems to monitor internal performance and evaluate relationships with insurance partners and allied distribution channels.Maintained product backlog, authored user stories and worked with engineering team to develop technical requirements, document bugs, outline sprints and create prototypes. Led the implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools including Hotjar, Google Search Console and Google Analytics

I was involved in wide range of tasks from specification review, RAN upgrades, Test tool, Test campaigns and definition of RAN parameters settings. Installation, Configuration and monitoring of security management system to ensure security policies.Managing the designing installation, configuration & maintenance of LAN/WAN/Network security and services.

As an International Rep, I managed a society of over 500 active paid members. Role involved meeting new students and making them familiar with the society. I along with my committee members organized one of the best and sold out event of the year known as London Boat party. I also designed and maintained the official website for the society in order to help the members in secure online purchasing. During my tenure in the committee, our society won the prestigious student union award of best-improved society of the year.

During second year at Queen Mary, I was elected as project manager for the design and build module. It was what can be called a ‘blue sky research’ where we knew the goal but did not know how to achieve it. I successfully managed a team of five students and we were able to innovate and design an all-new software implemented hardware digital clock. A high mark we gained in this module is considered by myself to be a great personal success.
