Provide commercial mediation, arbitration, and negotiation services.Confer with disputants to clarify issues, identify underlying concerns, and develop an understanding of their respective needs and interests.Serve as spokesperson on labor contracts during negotiations of labor agreements. Provide consultation, design process, and serve as an individual and or bargaining team member in negotiation contracts. Provide advice and consultation to management on a wide range of labor relations matters.Provide information related to employment law and personnel policies and procedures.Identifies issues, develop action plans, proposal and negotiation strategies for labor contracts.Represent client/s in cases before the Personnel Board and/or State Public Employment Relations Commission, including discipline matters, unfair labor practices. Participate in the development of proposed labor policies. Assist in the preparation of briefing material on complex labor relations issues.Represents client/s in interest arbitration and provide assistance to outside consultants or counsel, as appropriate, including the preparation of witnesses and exhibits.Research state and federal laws and case precedents dealing with collective bargaining issues and processes to determine applicability and/or impact to labor relation issues.
