 Conduct disease monitoring activity in tiger, prey and feral animals in Sundarbans periphery. Develop research and disease surveillance methodologies, instrumentation and protocols for field sampling, lab investigation, analysis, and report preparation. Training staff in animal handling, blood and other sample collection, pre and post laboratory process. Lead the survey team in data collection to report delivery under the close supervision of line manager as assigned. Prepare the reagent and equipment procurement, ordering, storage and usage. Assist in managing the lab for disease monitoring and genetics. Prepare activity timeline, work plan and monthly progress reports. Work closely with Forest department. Organizing meetings with livestock department and local universities for exchange of information. Author and co-author scientific papers for conference and peer-reviewed journals under supervision of senior staff. Prepare monthly and quarterly activity budget and submission to line manager/supervisor.
