Conducted complex tax audits and examined financial records and reports of large-scaled taxpayers in terms of their compliance to accounting standards and tax legislation. Performed audit of Ministerial offices with respect to compliance and performance issues.Led disciplinary and criminal investigations, in collaboration with public prosecutors, of tax officials. Assessed effectiveness of internal control and risk management processes of ministry offices.Worked as the regional coordinator of 2022-23 Audit Program. I thought Financial Accounting course to Economics and Public Finance departments at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University. Course syllabus covers mainly the essential concepts and transactions of financial accounting as well as the preparation of financial statements.

▪ Provided expertise and technical assistance to the Mission on financial and legal matters.▪ Coordinated the works concerning financial affairs.▪ Facilitated and attended bilateral talks with respect to financial matters.▪ Worked on financial crimes with a special focus on money laundering and terrorist financing offences.

▪ Carried out large taxpayer’s audits within the scope of tax procedure code and other revenue codes.▪ Performed internal audits of tax offices. Provided analysis and consulting for effective and productive management and transaction processes to improve total quality of tax services. ▪ Wrote several reports to express opinions and make suggestions concerning the revision of secondary legislation as well as the reorganization of local tax offices.▪ Participated in joint-investigations of various government agencies with other Ministries inspectors.▪ Conducted anti-money laundering (AML) examinations in cooperation with public prosecutors and Turkish Financial Crimes Investigation Board.▪ Coached more than 10 assistant inspectors in order to build and develop skills for conducting effective and thorough audits and inspections.

As the coordinator and member of the highest audit body authorized to oversight and monitor management activities and financial processes of the University:• Provided objective advice and recommendations to the Intergovernmental Board of Trustees on working of organization’s governance and internal control processes.• Provided constructive advice in several case of dispute regarding the scope and limits of the mandate of the Chairman of the Board and that of Senior Management.• Contributed to the solution of long-lasting disagreements at the implementation of the primary regulations of the University by proposing the amendment of some University regulations.• Oversaw the financial statements and reviewed critical transactions in terms of regulatory compliance and fraud risk as well.• Detected serious irregularities & fraud activities resulted in disciplinary punishment of high-level officials and offered ways to enhance control processes in order to prevent such activities.

Key Projects▪ Electronic Audit Information System ProjectWorked as a team member for the establishment of a CAAT which enables public auditors to make the examinations directly through an application using databases. With the implementation of the project, the amount of the detected irregular transactions tripled in three years. Project prevented loss of more than 50 million dollars public sources. ▪ Examination of the Presidency of Turkish Public Procurement Authority Conducted detailed examination and inspection of the Turkish Public Procurement Authority, for the first time, upon the order of Minister of Treasury and Finance. Many revisions were made at the organizational structure of the Authority and several transaction processes were changed as a result of the examination report.
