Dr. S. Abdullah Shah, Associate Professor of English has been in the century old institution since 2006. He received his undergraduate degree (1999) from Jamal Mohamed College in Trichy and his master's degree (2002) in English literature from St. Joseph's College (Autonomous) in Trichy. He began his professional career as a lecturer at the MIET Polytechnic College in Trichy in 2002. The plays of American playwright Eugene O'Neill served as the basis for his M. Phil. (Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai) and Ph. D. (Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore) studies. He has presented research papers at both the national and international levels, and he has had works published in both international and UGC journals. He has written one book, titled 'Outlook for New Themes in the One-Act Plays of Eugene O'Neill', which is available on Amazon, Flipkart and Instamjo. He has contributed chapters to three ISBN books. He has registered two Patent Designs in the Patent Office, Government of India. He also serves as a Research Supervisor (Thiruvalluvar University), where he supervises four Ph.D. aspirants (PT) .
