Current● Designed and implemented a comprehensive report to identify peak sales periods for individual products across the entire catalogue, categorized by day and month. Leveraged this data-driven approach to inform inventory optimization strategies, ensuring sufficient stock levels to meet customer demand during high-volume periods and minimize the risk of overstocking during slower periods.● Successfully rectified inconsistencies within an existing sales report, ensuring it accurately reflects key metrics including sales figures, credit notes, refunds, sales growth, gross profit, marketing costs, and shipping costs. This meticulous data cleansing process promoted improved reporting accuracy and reliability, enabling stakeholders to make informed business decisions based on trustworthy insights.● Recognized a potential discrepancy in year-over-year sales comparisons due to differing weekdays for the same calendar date across two years (e.g. 18/09/2023 - Monday vs. 18/09/2024 – Wednesday). I developed a customized DAX measure to address this challenge, employing the corresponding Wednesday of the previous year (20/09/2023) as the benchmark for a more accurate year-over-year sales comparison. This innovative approach eliminates bias caused by weekday variations, ensuring a more reliable evaluation of sales performance trends over time.
