Current- Collaborate with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the Information Technology Department. - Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and business plans, particularly in relation to information technology digital transformation, in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.- Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery that provide all required support to company… Show more - Collaborate with executives and managers to develop long-range, strategic goals for the Information Technology Department. - Contribute to the development of the company’s strategic and business plans, particularly in relation to information technology digital transformation, in support of the company’s mission and core objectives.- Oversee the development and implementation of company-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery that provide all required support to company operations. - Maintain a regular liaison with the business units with respect to their new requirements (projects, system enhancement requests, availability and disaster recovery requirements, capacity requirements, etc. to achieve optimal usage of the technology resources and deliver maximum business benefits and meet operational requirements. - Establish and maintain all necessary information technology procedures and ensure that all systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.- Identify areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance and assist managers with the implementation of any new systems.- Provide company-wide expertise in IT and Digital Transformation to ensure that managers and staff have the best possible information for effective decision making and accessing data. - Maintain an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensure that the company makes the best use of any such developments.- Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
