• Managed USAID-BHA funded projects and recruited 13 WASH staff and undertaken employee competency appraisals • Involved resources mobilization, proposal development and funding opportunities in Somalia• Represented my employer and attended USAID/BHA MEAL periodic meeting in Nairobi • Developed guidelines, capacity building programmes, negotiated with contactors, and consultants • Designed and supervised EU funded 14 multi-use water catchments for Odweyne agro-pastoral communities in Togdheer region of Somaliland. The 14 catchments were powered by hybrid systems of solar system to run pumping network for drip irrigation, storage and distribution to surrounding villages. • Managed, designed GIZ funded solar powered cold chain storage systems for fishery community in Indian ocean Madowa archipelagos in the southern Somalia • Managed and implemented GIZ durable solution programmes for IDPs in Kismayo town• Built new and repaired existing primary and secondary irrigation canals along Jubba River in Gobweyn agricultural areas ( 55 Hectares) in urban settlements including Kismayo – Jubbaland State of Somalia

• Guided the ministry the way forward to developing urban development frameworks, re-inventing and strengthening the ministry of public works and reconstruction• Represented the ministry in high level technical meeting and inter-ministerial negotiations on integrating urban planning policy into national plans, urban profiling and informal sprawl settlements• Developed capacity building programmes, promoted partnerships with international stakeholder, wider community and business infrastructure sectors• Managed and supervised technical teams of the Ministry of Public Works and Reconstruction
