•Carries out designated teaching and assessment duties as required to the school portfolio of courses, implements stellar teaching strategies, accurately grades scripts, as well as monitors and supervises physiotherapy students during clinical postings/SIWES.•Teaching specialization, community health promotion, physical activity and health, health measurements and outcome assessment, biomechanics, and exercise, manual and outcome assessments.•Efficiently collaborates with senior faculties to shape the undergraduate program curriculum and contribute to accreditation exercises in the department, while conducting research and updating knowledge through national and international conferences.•Liaises with the Chair of the Department to develop student handbooks and standard operating procedures, and handles clinical affiliation postings for the students, as well as provides tutorials and supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. •Maintains working relationships with other Schools/departments/units within the University, as necessary, for the smooth operation and continued development of the school and its courses, and duly carries out such other related duties as may be required.

•Successfully manages several patients with cervical and lumbar spondylosis, radiculopathy, and decreased range of motion using Cyriax and Mulligan manipulative therapy also treats and rehabilitates diverse conditions, including MSK, Cardio, Neuro, and geriatric cases.•Oversees the management of patients with central post-stroke pain and facial paralysis using exercises and the Kinesio taping technique; also rehabilitates several patients with SIJ using SIJ manipulation skills. •Independently assesses, identifies, and conducts screening examinations for medical conditions, using evidenced-based knowledge of treatment modalities, e.g., manual physiotherapy techniques, exercise prescription, electrotherapy, patient education, and acupuncture.•Provides detailed assessment, diagnosis, and individualized treatment using the ICF model for patients with complex physical, mental, and neurological conditions such as stroke, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, arthroplasty, laminectomy, and those under nursing care. •Accurately writes detailed patient case notes and reports according to global practice records using electronic medical records, also educates patients and their caregivers on the treatment and preventive modalities required to prevent reoccurrence and ensure recovery. •Efficiently handles clinical caseloads and effectively supervises the caseloads of junior staff and students on clinical placement to ensure patients are prioritized according to the acuity of needs across the service area; also participates in the audit process of the department•Utilizes best practices intervention based on available clinical evidence, and provides professional education, ergonomic advice, and instruction for home exercise program (HEP) while ensuring the delivery of a coordinated multidisciplinary patient-centered service•Work in collaboration with agencies to develop strategic management of the specialist service area within the relevant professional service guidelines
