In this role, I partake in academic research and teach computer science courses for undergraduate students. I teach introductory programming courses like Java, Python and C++. I also supervise students final year project. I also mentor high achieving students to participate in international, regional and local competitions.

In this role, I provided technical assistance towards implementing the Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC) program in four (4) Local Government Area in Niger State, Nigeria. Hence, I line manage three (3) field officers, while I directly work in 1 LGA.

Working with leading international research groups and three research centres, I undertook modules focusing on a wide range of computer science fields, including programming, information management, safety and dependable systems, security and trust, cloud computing, formal modelling and human factors engineering. My research centered on security and human computer interaction.

NU-AGE is a supernumerary inter-disciplinary module about ageing, in its broadest context, aimed at undergraduate students from any academic background. A key feature of the module is the involvement of older people in the design delivery and evaluation of the module. NU-AGE was formally introduced in the academic year 2014-2015 and has evolved remarkably since then. See http://www.ncl.ac.uk/ageing/teaching/undergrad/nu-age/ )My placement as a teaching assistant involve liaison between module staff, participating students, and members of the public (older people in particular) acting as volunteers during the design, delivery and evaluation of the NU-AGE module. The core tasks undertaken along my preferences and skills, includes: *Preparing teaching materials (including the blackboard system) *Helping to organise and deliver teaching sessions *Designing an evaluation strategy for the module *Contributing to evaluation data collection and analysis *Communicating with student participants, module staff and public volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the module.

In this capacity, I routinely conduct capacity building training on IT and HIV programming and management. I help in preparing state annual workplan and procurement plan for donor agencies notably World Bank and United Nations Development Programme. I also engage in providing necessary technical, administrative and logistic support during the development of policy documents for the agency. I also principally manage and maintain all ICT infrastructures in the agency.-Provide any technical assistance to the agency on ICT related issues.

I provide routine briefs to the Director General and Project Manager on issues related to HIV programming. I help design and implement drawn activities from existing policy and working documents of development partners and government. I also provide advice to management on programming trends and best practices.
