Current- National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) is exclusively responsible for regulating the electric power sector in Pakistan.I am currently working with the Electricity Tariff Team and performing the following.
- Tariff setting of Public Sector Utilities for both the Distribution and Supply of Power Functions, under the Single Year as well as Multi Year Tariff (MYT) regimes, carrying out financial analysis, tariff design.

- Forecasting of Power Purchase Prices (PPPs) for setting up references in the consumer end tariff by projecting total as well as source wise/ plant wise generation, projection of prices of different fuel sources, based.
- Evaluate financial risks, prepare financial forecasts, financing scenarios and other documents concerning capital management, and write reports and recommendations. Plan short- and long-term cash flows and assess.
- Preparation of Monthly Fuel Charges Adjustments (FCAs), Quarterly Adjustment (QTAs) and Annual Adjustment requests of utilities as per their notified tariffs, including data verification, financial modelling/ analysis.
