Abdullah Sabole is an Integrated Engineering student at Western University and has graduated from The Woodlands Secondary School. He is passionate about the worlds of STEM and business. He likes to listen to and observe the world around him, thinking of endless perspectives and possibilities of how things can be changed and improved. Abdullah actively looks for experiences that will allow his skills in STEM, business, athletics and leadership to grow and flourish, and change the world through creativity, innovation, and helping/inspiring people.In May 2018, Abdullah started a nonprofit with his friends - Innovire - with the purpose of inspiring youth to innovate with STEM, become future change makers and in turn inspire others to do so as well. He aimed to provide barrier free access to resources, networks and experiences so that all youth could benefit, regardless of the struggles they faced. In the last 5 years, he has built out a dedicated team of 30+ youth to impact 1500+ youth from around the world through various initiatives! Apart from Innovire, Abdullah has been an active member of his school community as the Co-President of the Woodlands Athletic Association, Outreach Lead on Team 4308: Absolute Robotics, Director of Entrepreneurship and an accomplished competitor for DECA Woodlands, a Cross Country and Track athlete and more! He has been recognized as the recipient of the Silver Crest and The Canadian Corps Association - Fred and Mary Stiby Awards as well as the MAX All-Star General Muhammad Khaleelullah and Waheeda Begum Scholarship and Science & Engineering Scholarship. Abdullah also enjoys volunteering in the community and has done so in leadership roles with MuslimFest and FIRST Canada.Abdullah in his spare time enjoys reading, writing, running, playing sports, playing board games, spending time with family and friends and more.
