With an impressive tenure of over 24 years, he has gained extensive experience across a range of sectors including Telecom, Mega Economic Projects, Real Estate Development, Logistics Services, and Government sector.Throughout his career, Mr. Abudawood has showcased his versatile skill set and expertise in various areas such as formulating business strategies, financial planning, building business and operating models, leading strategic initiatives, and overseeing transformation programs. His proficiency extends to managing both international and local strategic partnerships.In his recent venture within the Government sector since 2017, Mr. Abudawood has played a pivotal role in different strategic projects and initiatives. Prior to joining Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co., he was appointed as a senior advisor to H.H. the Mayor of Riyadh Region, where he spearheaded investments initiatives, developed Riyadh Municipality's investment strategy, and contributed toward crafting its financial sustainability road map. He also led the incorporation and establishment of Remat Al-Riyadh Development Co. as a development arm for Riyadh Municipality, fostering private sector participation in the municipal sector.Earlier in his career, Mr. Abudawood worked as the Vice President for Strategy & Investments at channels by STC, overseeing operations and P&L's for both Bahrain and Oman subsidiaries. He also led the city strategy and business development initiatives at Jazan Economic City, and played a strategic role in driving the business development for the Industrial Valley Project at King Abdullah Economic City.Mr. Abudawood holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Honors from the University of Business and Technology (UBT). Additionally, he has completed Executive Programs in Leading Businesses from London Business School and Board Management from IMD.
