As a software engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan, I have gained experience working on a variety of projects, from machine learning and computer vision to database management and web development.Currently, I work as a Junior Consultant for BI Reporting at Systems Limited, where I am responsible for using advanced SQL to extract data from the warehouse, perform deep-level analysis, and present the data to relevant stakeholders in departments such as commercial BI, finance, and regulatory. I have also automated queries to send data as per required schedules to the business and generated weekly reports of revenues with statistics presented to Telenor Global Group. During this time, I have worked as a team lead and managed the entire ad-hoc team single-handedly, leading daily prioritization meetings with the client and tracking team progress.Prior to this, I worked at Hatric Solutions as an Associate Project Manager, leading team meetings, negotiating with clients to set up realistic delivery timelines, eliciting client requirements, and translating them from non-technical terminology into developer-friendly technical jargon. I have also written project-winning proposals with entire budgeting and forecasting and assigned work to the team as per the best available optimized throughput.Throughout my education and work experience, I have worked on a variety of projects. As a final year project, I developed an autonomous system to detect COVID-19 SOP violations using computer vision and other machine learning algorithms. I have also predicted novel coronavirus trends using forecasting, machine and deep learning models such as LSTM, and statistical data analysis. Additionally, I designed a state-of-the-art proximity algorithm that provided highly accurate and relevant search results within seconds for a search engine project.Apart from my technical skills, I am also well-practiced in technical content writing and documentation. I have written several tech articles published on the internet and created computer science-related content in the Urdu language for Pakistani students.My achievements include presenting a review of the prevalent techniques used for COVID-19 SOP violation detection at the HONET-ICT Conference and completing a six-course specialization on Coursera related to the management of software products. Overall, I am a motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for data analytics.
