Graduate Research In High Temperature, High Pressure Experiments
Current• Conducting experimental research using a high-temperature, high-pressure, variable-volume, agitated, fully windowed, phase behavior cell to observe phase behavior that occurs in various chemical engineering and petroleum engineering processes.• Phase behavior experiments include the determination of cloud points, dew points, bubble points, foam formation, and foam stability.• Solubilities of chemicals in high pressure fluids can be determined, for example the solubility of a surfactant or polymer in supercritical CO2.
