Heading the Investment and Strategic Planning Department of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, and part of the Executive Management Committee. In charge of all Investment related decisions of the company, including preparation of feasibilities of attractive real estate investment propositions, identifying attractive acquisitions of income generating assets and lands, recommending divestment of portfolio assets, in addition to setting and reviewing the company's strategy.

During October 2012, Edamah (the subsidiary) and Mumtalakat (the parent) went through a large scale organizational restructuring process. Due to this restructuring, the investment department of Edamah merged with the investment department of Mumtalakat.Reporting directly to the CEO and responsible for preparing and recommending financial feasibilities for various real estate projects including Development, Asset Management, BOOT, and LTOs. Involved in recommending company’s strategy and drafting business plan.In charge of supervising and delegating work to junior team members.In charge of preparing and presenting periodic company reports to senior management and the BoD. Working closely with other divisions including, Development, Asset Management, and Legal. Working closely with legal advisor to draft various agreements including MoUs, CAs, and SPAs. Facilitating meetings with potential investors and tenants, and structuring deals to meet mutual requirements. Preparing proposals to existing lease tenants on potential JV opportunities.

Team member in handling post acquisition responsibilities, including marketing, sales, project management, etc.Undertook drafting and reviewing of private placement memorandums (PPMs).Team member in structuring and sourcing, real estate investment opportunities. Worked with lawyers, auditors, and adhered to Central bank of Bahrain (CBB) in relation to setting up company SPVs. Conducted presentations on new offerings to the investment placement team.

Treasury DepartmentJoined as part of the Executive Trainee Program whereby I rotated among several key departments for a whole year, including Market Risk, Financial Control, Credit Analysis, and Derivatives.Promoted to Assistant Manager on July 1st 2006, and joined the FX and MM Division. Conducted daily research on financial markets, and discussed market conditions during meetings and seminars.Trained with ACI Dealing in london,UK, and received Certification.Met with FX and MM representatives from major international banks including UBS, Citi London, and Merrill Lynch.Managed foreign exchange positions backed by fundamental and technical research and analysis.Quoted banks directly on Reuters Direct Dealing System providing a two way Price. (Commission Business). Team member in employing the "Barclays Trading Platform", which the bank introduced in September 2007.

Team member in preparing a financial model for a large real-estate project in the region.Aided in the preparation of a valuation memorandum for a local family owned business.Conducted research, and compiled a report on the real estate market in Bahrain.
