As a Cyber Security Intern at Hashcron, I am actively engaged in a hands-on learning experience that encompasses various aspects of cybersecurity. My role involves monitoring and analyzing security alerts to identify suspicious activities, employing tools such as Snort, NetworkMiner, and Wireshark for in-depth investigations.I collaborate with sales teams to implement a secure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system on the Python/MySQL platform, focusing on enhancing system security through robust encryption and data protection measures. Additionally, I conduct vulnerability assessments using Nmap to identify active devices and open ports, helping to improve the organization’s overall security posture.My responsibilities also extend to developing skills in incident response, where I analyze email headers for phishing detection and leverage tools like Message Header Analyzer, URLscan.io, and VirusTotal for thorough investigations. Participating in incident response activities, I utilize Splunk for log analysis and Sysinternals tools for comprehensive system investigations.This internship is not only enhancing my technical skills but also allowing me to contribute to the security of our systems and the protection of our clients' data in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As laborarory technician intern at Symbio Laboratories, I undertook the following task:- Collected food products, prepared samples as needed and incubated them for pathogen testing.- Performed polymerase chain reaction, flow cytometry and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to analyze pathogen DNA and cells from food samples.- Involved in media preperation and general laboratory skills.
