Field Service Engineer
CurrentEnsure that assigned Regional network availability is 98.5% and network quality of service [QoS] is that of NCC’s KPI.Complete preventive maintenance and field modification.Order and manage repair parts cycle time. Responsible for backhauling of faulty network elements (within 48hrs) in conjunction with the warehouse.Liaise with electromechanical contractors to ensure prompt fueling and maintenance of effective power systems in all sites.Prompt escalation of all network related issues to the Field Service Manager and/or the State Technical head for urgent intervention and follow up until final resolution. Execute diagnosis, neutralization, correction of hardware, software and configuration problems on BSS, TRANSMISSION/FIBER AND POWER systems.Perform regular network optimization for effective network QOS.Take ownership of all BSS, TRANSMISSSION AND POWER elements in the cluster. Responsible for the telecommunication network infrastructure / integration covering active and passive network elements [BSS/UMTS/LTE, transport systems (fiber optic / radios), site rollout / implementation/acceptance, power systems, etc] of various Network projects within the state.
