• Managing all processes and functions within busy warehouses. • Managing a team of up to 15 employees within two warehouses. • Coordinating racking and storing. • Responsible for the warehouse security and accountability. • Ensuring stock levels are managed and controlled effectively. • Ensuring compliance with all Health and Safety regulations. • Using BaaN IV ERP system to monitor stock control. • Producing incident and performance reports for senior managers. • Making sure that all freight receipts and deliveries are carried out in time. • Keeping all documents related to receipts and deliveries filed and organised. • Scheduling work to meet fluctuations in staffing levels and workloads. • Leading, motivating, training and developing staff. • Visiting clients to monitor the quality of service they are receiving. • Updating and maintaining computerised and paper based administrative records. • Responsible for the disciplinary and grievance procedures. • Working with team leaders to review procedures and maximise customer satisfaction.• Achieving excellent results with regards to stock differences which appear after every physical counting.• Assisting other departments in effecient use of the BaaN IV ERP system, such as sales and production departments, as will as support for some of the IT functions whenever company needs.
