Audacy, Inc | Recommendation Engine (July 2022 – Present)As a software engineer I am developing a recommendation engine to recommend podcasts to a user based on their listening interests and their interactions with related systems. I am responsible for data engineering and developing backend micro-services.Tools: Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Lambda, EventBridge, DocumentDB, Python, Flask, Pandas, Dask, Numpy and TensorflowKey responsibilities:• Development and maintenance of the data ingestion pipeline from Snowflake’s data warehouse using AWS Lambda, SageMaker and EventBridge.• Feature Extraction and Feature Engineering in Python using Pandas, Dask, Numpy.• Data Storage using AWS S3 and DocumentDB.• Model Training using Tensorflow and AWS SageMaker.• Development of microservices in Flask for serving recommendations and deployment on AWS SageMaker.• Design and Development of solution for testing unsupervised model’s results.

Details of some projects I worked on for my clients are:• Trained Semi-Supervised Text Classifier using Tensorflow with a Flask based Web Interface deployed on a Centos6 VM on Azure.• Neural Machine Translation from English-2-Spanish and vice versa using Tensorflow and Keras.• Time Series Analysis of London's crime data provided by the government using pandas.• Designed and Developed a Sales Management System, which was then deployed on the AWS platform.• Implementing Stucki Dithering Algorithm with vectorized operations to decrease compute time using Numpy.
