•Drive the effective management and co-ordination of frontline operations on behalf of the operations department through strong leadership, promoting and embedding a flexible, customer-focused culture and continuous improvement of customer service delivery.• Supervise TOA's on a shift basis, ensuring effective people management and development in line with operations standards. Engage fully with shift staff to ensure a customer-focused and aligned operation.• Act as line manager for the TOA team, including carrying out performance reviews and performance management duties.• Support TOA's to ensure that their role is carried out in line with operational policies, processes, and procedures in line with RAC policy framework, operations standards,GACA, and national/international regulations.• Work with handling agents, airlines, state agencies, suppliers, contractors, other terminal tenants, and stakeholders to ensure that the highest level of service standards are delivered and maintained.• Oversee and audit the SLAs in place with operational service providers to ensure an efficient and customer-focused operations. • Delegate effectively, ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of actions/tasks and provision of accurate and timely management reporting data.

• Managing air cargo operations such as handling of incoming and outgoing cargo, and verifies that the import and export cargo meet standards.• Expedite and rout movement of incoming and outgoing cargo and freight shipments to the Airline.• Ensure all the cargo in safety & security standards are followed. • Ensure cargo is fit for shipment and meets standards.• Identify breaches of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) involving transfer of hazardous materials or dangerous goods.• Supervision to ground handling when transfers cargo within the warehouses, including stowing hazardous goods in designated cargo areas. • Follow height, weight and special handling requirements when stacking, moving and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans in aircraft.• Weigh ULDs for the development of cargo load plans.• Preparing daily reports on incoming and outgoing shipments.
