• Act as the responsible person for the entire aircraft maintenance.• Ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft according to FAA and GACA regulations and the required company standards with regard to safety, quality and cost efficiency.• Participate in contracting maintenance providers.• Plan and supervise routine and heavy maintenance with maintenance providers.• Draw up and monitor the maintenance budget.• Technical evaluation of aircraft joining the fleet.• Represent Maintenance and Engineering in national and international boards as well as in public relations matters.• Ensure that quality standard is maintained at a level required by market or customer demands and requests.• Ensure that maintenance is carried out at the optimum of safety- and reliability-, but also on economical aspects.

- On behalf of the CEO of Saudia Technical Services SBU, drive Strategic Plan development and monitoring, to ensure its effective implementation.- Lead dedicated resources in identifying, prioritising and supporting implementation of strategic initiatives, in collaboration with business units and departments across Saudia Technical Services SBU.

• Helped prepare the road map for Saudia Technical Services (TSV) privatization. • This included writing RFP’s for the different consultants and negotiate contracts. • Lead a Technical Services team who worked with Finance Consultants to establish a Finance department and processes in, as well as a pricing mechanism, a master plan, and a 10-year business plan. • Lead another team who worked with an Aviation consultant to design a new organization, high level business processes, job specs, KPI’s and a high level strategic plan.
