AbdulRasheed Muhammad was born on September 23, 1975. Attended Magwan Special Primary School from 1980 - 1986, Kano School of Business Studies from 1986 - 1992 and Bayero University Kano from 1992 - 1997 where he graduated with a Bsc in Economics. He also got his MBA in 2007 from the same university. He attended several courses in Credit Analysis, Risk Management, Project Finance and Management, Business Communications Skills, Human Resources, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership and many more. He is also a member of some professional organisations among which include, Institute of Management, Institute of Chartered Economist of Nigeria, Institute of Management Consultants and also Institute of Treasury Management. He started his banking career in GTBank plc as a Relationship Manager in charge of all government financial institutions and moved to head the unit after three years. His blissful career continued with the setting up of three new teams in Abuja, Katsina and Lafia from scrach to profit level. Moved to Access Bank in 2007 and was immediately sadled with the responsibility of managing two branches as a Branch Manager in Jos, Plateau State and Lafia, Nasarawa State. He moved to First Bank in 2008 and left their services in April 2014 as Manager, Corporate Banking responsible for managing businesses within the threshold of Coporate Banking in Asokoro, Nasarawa and Benue State.He moved to be a Managing Partner as well as a board member of Admobell Global Nigeria Limited, a management consultancy and general commerce firm.In August 2015 he moved to the Public Service as Deputy General Manager, Planning at Nigerian Meteorological Agency. He works in the Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS) unit of the organization. Core job function at the unit are Strategic Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation of Projects and programmes. He is also a member of the team that represents the Agency in preparation of MTSS and Annual Budget. He was promoted to the position of General Manager (Planning) effective January 2021 based on his dedication and commitment to duty as evidenced by the numerous achievements recorded.AbdulRasheed Muhammad is married with kids.
