The USAID-funded Women’s Economic and Social Empowerment Program is implemented by Pathfinder International. The program is designed to engage, leverage, and partner with the private sector as well as public social service initiatives to encourage women’s participation in the workforce; generate demand for financial services; promote tailored, market-based solutions to women’s economic empowerment; and strengthen Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention and response such that women become more economically and socially resilient.

- Managing the data entry process, including data cleaning and data processing.- Conducting the primary descriptive data analysis and drafting regular reports.- Supervising and collecting data from various stakeholders, reviewing the supporting documents, and tracking the indicators.- Supporting the development of data collection and monitoring tools, including assessment forms and surveys.- Updating MEL tools related to data entered.- Developing and maintaining a filing system for the MEL department.- Uploading data on MEL MIS in alignment with USAID requirements.

- Supporting the project team in registering beneficiaries (Syrian and Afro Refugees) in the central CRS database affiliated with the UNHCR database.- Conduct screening interviews with refugee beneficiaries to identify their eligibility for receiving CRS grants.- Verify and Assess the applicants' supporting documents and official and legal papers.

- Participate in the implementation of Youth Assessment Study in multi-targeted governorates (Cairo, Ismailia, Alexandria, Sohag, Assiut, Aswan.- Conducting FGDs And IDIs with youth in the age group 18-29.- Draft results reports based on the qualitative analysis of the FGDs/IDIs.- Handling the quantitative data through the mission MIS system.- Analyze quantitative data.

During my volunteer period, I had the opportunity on many occasions to be a representative of ERC and also received many trainings that supported me in several aspects such as MHPSS, CBHFA, TOT, and other trainings related to the tasks that ERC does.

- Supporting the Education Project team in grants disbursement and registration of refugee students.- Conducting interviews with refugee students to ensure their eligibility for the grants.

My experience with One Childhood initiative was special and it made me very happy when I provided psychological support to these children who went through difficult circumstances. One Childhood initiative worked to provide psychological support to unaccompanied children in the age group 17-18, as they will soon lose financial support completely, so the initiative worked to give them vocational training in their field of interest and help them find livelihood opportunities.

It was a great experience and support my passion for the environmental cause.

One of the experiences that made me have the ability to defend children’s rights directly and monitor the challenges facing children who are in conflict with the law.

One of the most difficult research for me, was as it included sensitive information about some individuals in the community, and the topic of the research was “the living conditions of Egyptian families.” I considered this research an adventure because I visited many places in Egypt and including villages that I knew nothing about.

It was a singular and distinctive experience that aided in the development of my research abilities as Shamsya Company strives to offer solutions for the administration of health systems. Eghospitals project had a conference with a variety of health care stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Health, civic society, the corporate sector, and donors. My duty as a researcher was to visit and review hospitals, more thoroughly to include many areas. I'm honored to be a member of the team tackling this project.

- Monitoring SGBV activities and documenting beneficiaries’ feedback.- Compiling databases and ensuring the accuracy of the inputs.- Preparing a report on data quality and gaps.- Write success stories related to the project’s objectives.- Assisting the field supervisor in preparing the monthly activities implementation calendar.- Translate the reports, intended for the donor, from Arabic to English.

- Conducting FGDs with governmental Officials and members of the Child Protection Units.- Drafting reports and sending them to the MEAL officer.

It was a pioneering experience, as the work team is made up of young people who are motivated by passion and love for what they do. During that period, I gained knowledge of many issues related to women, such as SGBV - female circumcision - early detection of breast diseases - awareness and education of young people - family planning and reproductive health."

That period made me a supporter of the rights of the child and gained me an understanding of the challenges and difficulties faced by children, as I was working on implementing camps to protect children from being subjected to abuse in all its forms, and giving them tips to deal in the event that they feel that they are endangered.

That was the beginning of getting to know INGOs through volunteering. That period helped me get to know the refugee communities who entered Egypt and understand the challenges they face. He participated as a volunteer in many projects of the organization, which are divided into three main programs (Empowerment and community capacity development - Promoting children’s rights - Criminal justice for children)

It was a special opportunity for me. It gave me knowledge in the field of training, research, and development, and made me more understanding of training and capacity building, Also one of the highlights for me was a survey to check personality traits.

In terms of community work, it was the most significant time in my life since it had a major impact on how I became who I am today and helped me develop the abilities that would later allow me to perform a variety of activities in many settings. I've gained a deeper knowledge of the difficulties experienced by many societal groups as a result of working to increase public awareness, particularly with the problem of drug addiction and abuse. It also made me more believe in the importance of the awareness role and its impact on human life. I have implemented many awareness campaigns as well as trainings aimed at raising awareness among young people and providing them with skills and knowledge that enable them to distinguish between misconceptions and the ability to protect themselves and those around them from falling into the trap of drug abuse and then addiction.
