About Abdul Salaam

Hi there, I’m Salaam. I’ve always been fascinated with the latest technologies, to see how modern technologies work. It’s this fascination that pushed me to start my career, right after my Bachelors Degree, as a Systems Administrator at Maldives Islamic Bank, exposing me to hands-on experience different technologies that the banking industry uses. Specifically, I monitor and maintain different systems, like ATMs and POS network and devices to keep them running 24/7. I work closely with my team on different project activities to complete them on time. I am a core project member of one of the biggest projects at the Bank; Visa issuance and acquiring, along with the Bank’s new card management system. It makes me happy to know that projects that I am involved in improves customer services and introduce new services to our customers. I aspire to work more closely with my colleagues and vendors to learn more about the latest technologies and new techniques.
