An educator, an inventor, and an entrepreneur with a passion for radiation and nuclear technologies. Combines a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Co-founded two companies: an American company that specializes in building devices based on thin-film technology and A Saudi company, which specializes in project management to help advance the non-oil based economy that supports Vision 2023. Co-invented and patented several technologies including a radiation detector, a renewable energy device, an X-ray technology that doesn’t require electricity perfectly suited for remote areas, and a smart knee brace that communicates with the surgeon and physical therapist to help expedite the healing process of orthopedic surgery patients. An Associate Professor for radiation detection and engineering design at King Abdulaziz University, and a courtesy faculty position holder in the school of Nuclear Science and Engineering (NSE) at Oregon State University.
