I'm a #Writer and #DigitalNomad from the East. I hold a postgraduation degree in #DevelopmentStudies from a private university (Iqra University - IU) in Islamabad, Pakistan. I moved to Islamabad for higher education in 2010 after spending 11 years in Peshawar. During my stay in Peshawar (1999-2010), I graduated from the prestigious 100+ years old Edwardes College (2008-10) and later opted for the Federal Capital of Pakistan as a place to settle down. It was 1989 when I was born in Malir Cantonment, Karachi, and moved to my hometown Karak (1990), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, when I was only one year old. For the next eight years (1990-98), I lived in the Cantonments of Peshawar and Multan before spending one year (1998-1999) in my hometown Karak again. I am mentioning my experience of living and studying in Karak (my hometown) to highlight the diversity I experienced in my life. It was 1999 when my father's step-family invited me to Peshawar, a significant sigh of relief from Urdu medium schooling in Karak. What followed afterward is part of my #Memoir, which I am publishing later this year; stay tuned. I am 100% #MadeInPakistan, but i #ThinkGlobal and #ActLocal. Thanks to #SocialMedia and digital platforms, I can live as a #GlobalCitizen without moving to any other part of the world. Strange enough, we are well are part of GlobalSociety and #GlobalEconomy with the advent of digital technologies and financial services.Now I am a content creator, moving one step closer each day to materializing my childhood dream of becoming an #Author. However, I am no more intrigued by the idea of becoming one. I am always available to collaborate on writing projects: #contentwriting, #copywriting, #selfpublishing, #research, and #microblogging on #socialmedia. Since 2010, I have worked briefly with organizations such as Sustainable Policy Institute (Think Tank) and Khyber News (Media Organization) before experimenting with freelance writing. The journey from #ResearchAnalyst in think tanks and media to #FreelanceWriter was not easy, nor was the journey from freelance writing to content creation. It takes a lot of courage to free oneself of the ideals society defined for us, especially the idea of "Getting a Job." We live in an era in human history where #SelfEmplyment is not a choice but is increasingly becoming necessary.
