I have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. degree in Automotive Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. I had worked in International Collaboration Office of TÜBİTAK for five years as SME and NMP National Contact Point and National Expert for FP7 Program. I was also responsible for EUREKA and Eurostars Programs.After TUBITAK, I had worked at Sabanci University as the Manager of Industry Collaboration and Technology Licensing Office for 8 years. In addition to that I had coordinated Enterprise Europe Network Istanbul (COSME), INNOVIST (H2020) and BiGGMentor (TÜBİTAK), BiGG4Tech (TUBITAK) Projects, EIT InnoEnergy RIS Hub (H2020). I had worked at PwC Turkey R&D Department as Senior Manager for 2,5 years to establish EU Grants sub-unit. Currently, I am working at Sabanci University TTO as Business Development Manager. My main responsibilities are development of collaborative projects together with industrial partners via direct contracted projects or EU grants, commercialization of patented technologies, implementing EEN Istanbul project as coordinator and EIT UM RIS Hub Türkiye as partner. My specialties: national and EU R&D grants, networking, matchmaking, R&D project proposals development, R&D project proposal writing, university-industry collaboration, technology transfer, commercialization of patented technologies, innovation management capability assessment.
