I am an Automation Audio Video Systems Designer for more than 25 years. I specialize in whole house audio visual and home automation systems design. Building strong relationships with my clients has contributed to my success. The most important aspect of these relationships is a drive to stay in touch and follow up throughout the entire process. I leverage hands on experience with the builder, architect, contractor, interior designer, sub-contractors, and most importantly the homeowner throughout the multi-month or multi-year process of the project.The process starts with the homeowners discussing the scope of the project. A review of the architectural plans includes discussing the fundamental basis of the design and that is structured wiring, which is the backbone of the system with networking, television, and telephony. The next step is audio visual design for whole house distribution. Final aspect of the consultation includes discussing sub-system integration such as lighting, HVAC, shades, and security.   I design whole house automation systems. I work with the home owners, architects, interior designers, and all sub contractors on a project to provide a seamless solution to the client. Upon project acceptance I lead a team of 5-7 individuals including a project engineer, programmer, 2-4 installers, and a field project manager throughout the completion of the project. Systems used include home automation solutions from AMX, Crestron, Control4, and Elan Home Systems. We design and implement home security systems. I design a whole house audio video solution and structured wiring distribution which includes CAT-5e, CAT-6, Fiber infrastructure. Integration with sub-systems such as HVAC, Security, Shading, and lighting. Deployment of enterprise class networks is essential for a solid design and system stability.
