in addition of the vocational education Initiate, Develop Adult Education Activities- Identify and contact UNRWA schools to be opened after hours for adult education. - Identify and apply suitable curricula for English, IT and Literacy classes - Set up TORs for Adult Education teachers - Identify and employ suitable teachers in coordination with the Head of Skills Section - Assist the teachers in the development of teaching methodologies - Initiate activities that strengthen school-parent-student interaction Coordinate and Supervise Adult Education Activities- Identify and employ Registration Clerks in the concerned schools in coordination with the Head of Skills Section - Establish, implement and update registration procedures - Coordinate and supervise adult education classes - Organize trainings for the teachers - Set up criteria for the evaluation of adult education classes Ensure the Outreach of Adult Education Services- Initiate relevant and innovative outreach activities - Assist the Communication Officer in the production of information and advertisement material - Cooperate with Engaging Youth staff to inform potential beneficiaries about Adult Education Services - Establish a dialogue with local communities to identify adult education needs or desires for other kinds of relevant activities Reporting- Provide monthly progress reports to the Head of Skills section - Every six months evaluate the impact of adult education classes in a participatory manner together with the teachers

Engaging youth project:The project run By UNRWA provides young Palestinians, ageing from 13 to 35 years old, with career guidance, vocational training and services through providing the place where they can express their views and develop their life and career skills.Title:Vocational education officer Duties:- Counseling beneficiaries to build a career bath- Training beneficiaries on employability skills- Providing a vocational training according to the needs of the beneficiaries and labor market- Build a relation with the privet sector to secures jobs to the trainees as much as possible- Follow up with trainees after having jobs- Establishing the offers for each round- Advertising the courses in the local community- Supervising the courses and control the quality of teaching and attendance of trainees- Identify for compulsory on-the job training, before the start of a courses as much as possible- Improve the existing database and keep it up to date- Become the main contact person in the area concerning information and registration for short term courses- Under the guidance of the concerned EGOs, support the identification of training institute and organization governmental or private sector, that offer quality training for establishing new collaboration.- Supporting the EGOs in updating the labor market surveys and identifying gaps in skills needs in each governorate.- Keep records of employment of trainees 6 months after certifications

Duties: - Active member of the administrative body- Communicate local and international NGOs to create partnership- Communicate local and international donors to support activities and initiatives - Writing proposals to the donors and facilitate the youth initiatives and activities - Work with the youth on creating new initiatives and projects to serve youth and community- Reporting all activities one by one and the yearly report to donors and partners - Supervising the media department - Implementing the initiatives and the projects with the youth Achievement:- Communicated with many local and international NGOs and partners - Implementing many projects with our partners such as (Human, refugee, women and children right course, project management, NGOs management, 5 children summer camps, 7 international youth summer camps, English - French clubs and computer as a soft skills, painting- theater- dancing- photographing- and cinema workshops )- Ran 3 children and 3 youth summer camps as a manager- Wrote yearly reports to the donors and partners
