My passion & profession goes towards both cinematography & editing. I have worked on many genres of fiction & non-fiction narratives such as documentaries, music videos, short films & commercials.To me the whole idea that I can capture two different unrelated images and when put together in the edit; we create a third meaning! This is what fascinates & inspires me to make films & work on refining my craft.My final year project short film was selected as part of the screening at CUT.IN National Students Film Festival at TISS, Mumbai from all over India.My skill set for cinematography include theoretical, practical & aesthetical understanding of film grammar, DSLRs, Mirrorless, Cinema cameras like RED’s & ARRI as well as lighting on a broader sense.I love editing as well, I have cut on various NLE's such as Apple's Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier Pro, DaVinci Resolve and a little bit on Avid Media Composer. At the end of the day these are just tools one uses to tell a story, though what I posses is the editing sense which I have gained through various projects, deadlines & improvisations.Video is 50% of the film & the other half is sound. I have a very good grasp of sound mixing in the NLE itself.
