AIHS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) national professional organization working for the benefit of people suffering from intractable headache, neck, and orofacial pain that is not responding to conventional treatment by providing educational workshops for physicians. They initiated ABHM board exam for qualified physician to document their knowledge, training and skills in this new subspeciality of pain management. They also initiated AHM Journal as an open access, international peer-reviewed online journal.
