I'm a Chief Information Security Officer with 20+ years of information security and IT consulting experience. Led numerous projects in the banking, telecom and industrial sectors in areas of information security management systems implementation, information security strategy design, policy design and implementation , security risk management and standards compliance. Additional project types included design and delivery of security awareness as well as security assessments and IT audits. I have extensive experience in security regulations and standards implementations including ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, SWIFT CSP and central bank regulations. I have built & maintained ISMS (information security management systems) in line with ISO 27001:2013 and supported 3 organizations (banking - telecom industries) towards certification.I value continuous learning; I'm certified as Chief information security officer (C|CISO), certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), information security manager (CISM), information systems auditor (CISA) and passed the certification exam for project management professional. Also, certified in risk and controls (CRISC) and governance of enterprise IT (CGEIT) as well as ISO 27001:2013. Additionally I’m a Certified Corporate Director (IFC, 2020)I was awarded among the top cyber security government leaders in the Middle East in 2019. I have been named among Egypt’s top 30 inspirational women for 2020 and among Egypt’s top 50 women in 2019 for contribution to securing the financial sector in Egypt. Additionally I have been ranked #1 in IFSEC global influencers in security for 2020 (security directors category) and I’m currently a judge in IFSEC elite judge panel for selection of top global security influencer of the year award. I have also been awarded as a leadig cyber security executive in 2018 and as Women Security Leader in 2016 at the MESA (Middle East Security Awards) conference. I was recognized as CISO of the year for the Middle East and Egypt in 2021, 2019, 2018, and 2016 by several entities and organizations.
