As the Deputy Director General of International Affairs, Promotion and TICs at the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), I oversee the strategic planning and execution of the institute's international cooperation, economic promotion, and information technology initiatives. I bring more than 35 years of experience in international negotiations, public policy design, energy sector analysis, and mining promotion to this role, as well as a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.Prior to joining IMPI in January 2024, I served as a Senior Consultant and retired Ambassador, leveraging my extensive diplomatic and analytical skills to advise clients on various global issues. From 2015 to 2021, I was the Ambassador and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Mexico in Jordan, where I successfully promoted Mexican interests in the economic, commercial, cultural, and political fields. I also worked on issues related to the OECD, IEA, APEC, ICO, and other UN bodies, demonstrating my proficiency in multilateral organizations and international relations. My mission is to foster innovation, collaboration, and development in the fields of industrial property and economic growth, both in Mexico and abroad.
